Tea Bowls

So for El Pueblo, the Bid & BBQ is their big fundraiser. For those that don't know, if you are a non-profit it is vitally important that you get a fundraiser that becomes the place to be. This allows you to tap into the monies people who will never come and cook at the soup kitchen, or wash toilets or transport kids or whatever hands on thing could  help you.  But.. they can donate money, a lot of it. Not the change that most of us are able to give but real money. And they can attract similar people.  you do it right, and your event is a "society page" event.  This is El Pueblo's aim at that crowd.

I have kids in group that as a part of treatment do social justice projects, further about half of them have lived at El Pueblo for a period of time. These are the hand built tea bowls the group created.  We are hoping that the story alone will sell these at a decent price. They will be going to El Pueblo for auction.
