So our chicken's are free range like no other. They have the run of the entire backyard. But when bored they jump the fence into Paul's yard (buddy of mine that moved next door). And a few times have simply taken off. I have found them chillin the front yard of our house as well as the neighbors.
Anyway, we have found eggs!.. and I mean FOUND. They are not "nesting" and not laying in the chicken coop. We aren't sure if the Rooster has done his thing so they may or may not be fertilized but if they are, and we don't find them in time... well the chicks will never hatch as the chickens are not "brooding".
I haven't made us anything yet but I gave Paul some since the chickens visit him so often.
