Obnoxious Set Backs ....

So I got thank you notes, but neither organization would tell me if all my stuff went at auction or how much it went for. Not helpful in terms of thinking through growth.

I have been able to throw only a minimal amount recently.  I have been trying to get a wood burning stove into the studio because I cannot throw when it is too cold. Since water is involved, even when it is cool it is hard to throw out there.

Basically two places in Pueblo do this, one lies about the product is is trying to take advantage. The other is reasonable but zero follow through. Was ready to call Springs when we realized that Kevin H. might be able to help!!  He is going to install and I have the stove already ordered and on its way. So finally a resolution to that problem.

Other issues is tied, the clay is too damn wet. But no reason to dry it up a bit because I would have to babysit the clay. And since I cannot throw at home but would have to go to cup and bowl, it shifts my timing. So I haven't done so. I have tried to throw but it is so wet that for me and my current ability, too wet. I did get some plates (not my best work) and one bowl out of it so far.

I really need to get going, it is Christmas season and I have a ton that needs thrown if I am going to get this all done in time to be fired!
